We asked friends, groomers, watched a bunch of YouTube videos and read articles- a lot from this site. I put a lot together and groomed our dog myself. UG. It went ok but that grooming took forever- and it was mostly a shave down anyway. I was bent over the dog hurting my back, and the dog was uneasy. Two months later- I sucked it up, bought the course and plowed through these lessons at 1.5 speed! My wife and I just groomed our Dood and it took us from wash to groom to wash and dry again = two hours fifteen minutes! Stop Searching Buy the course and complain about how easy it is!

Read MoreA year ago, I stumbled upon your book on Amazon, and little did I know, it was about to become the MVP of my doodle parenting journey. We added Frankie, our Bernie Doodle, to the squad after our golden doodle, Teddy, crossed the rainbow bridge. Frankie's coat threw me for a loop after his first grooming session, and cue your book to the rescue – turns out, some Bernie doodles are rocking a double coat! Your book became my go-to for handling tools, managing pesky matting, and it's safe to say I'm no longer having a panic attack over tangled fur. Fast forward a few months, and I decided to take matters into my own hands and start grooming my boys. Instead of opting for your course right away, I took a detour to YouTube. It was a mixed bag – my doodles were clean and content, but they lacked that polished look. Cut to today, six months into my DIY grooming journey, and I finally caved and bought your course. Let me tell you, I should've done it sooner. It covers everything in a way that just makes sense. Even though I'm not going through the videos in order, every concern and question I had now has clear, practical solutions. Save yourself the hassle and time – the course is worth it! Not a single regret! Don’t wait like I did!

The first cut was her first, so we had a LOT of long fur to remove. The second cut, a few weeks later, left Mabel looking absolutely gorgeous. We invested in good equipment, but it will pay for itself quickly, and we get exactly the look we want. Yeah, an occasional "slip" when grooming an active, always-in-motion large dog -- but those can be managed. The grooming video course more than paid for itself the first time we took on the challenge.

Read MoreCourse is great. It’s organized in an easy to follow and smart order of operations. Exactly what I needed to push me confidently over the edge and take my first clipper-strip journey down the back of my matted doodle. I’d kept my doodle long haired and was really keeping up with the hair but it was as if over night these terrible twisted to the skin mats started appearing. I had no choice but to shave him down. I was very nervous but with the confidence shown in all these videos, I started the shave down process and lo and behold - we both survived! Something I never would have thought to be aware of was my dogs nipples - really grateful this was included in with all the lessons! Thank you!

Read MoreI have scoured the internet many times for dog grooming information not knowing exactly what I didn't know.... these lessons have provided tremendous amounts of information. The information provided is certainly great to have if you plan to start grooming your doodle yourself, as we plan to. But I now wish I would have known what I learned in these videos when we were taking our 2 1/2-year-old Aussiedoodle to the groomer over the last couple of years. We would certainly have been wiser in our expectations, questions we would have asked the groomers, and overall more educated consumers and caretakers of our Doodle.

Read MoreWe decided to do our own grooming after being charged $200 from a groomer who claimed to deal with matting. He was not matted...we brush him completely on a regular basis and check him over before we take him to the groomer. This course increased our confidence and saved us a lot of time and added expense. If you follow all the recommended purchase options and training, it can be a fun experience. We spent a lot of money on improper tools before viewing this site and it is a shame we did not find this course and website sooner. Just remember...have fun. A bad haircut is always fun to look at and it will grow back for the next training session.

Read MoreIt's a fair amount of reading but there is alot of great information. I've been grooming my poodles for the last 5 years and now i have 3 little doodles that i've been doing but there were a few areas where i was struggling or i just couldn't figure out how to do. You actually helped with most of that. I never shaved between paws but i know you should and we live in the stickers and mud but i was afraid to get in those little areas and cut them. So watching you do it was helpful and knowing I could use safety scissors was nice too I had trouble getting around mouth and noses to ever look good, it was choppy and uneven and the spots that grow to the eyes i always just cut short...so i learned a few new tricks there. I also did not know about curved scissors, so i ordered some and i'm guessing they will be a gamechanger in some areas around toes and face and belly. So thank you. A couple things I wish you would add. 1. Use other dogs with different coats and styles in the vidoes, if my dogs coat is not like Chloe's there may be some other tips/tricks to learn by watching. I know you say it's all the same but all 3 of my doodles have different coats and I struggle alot with the most poodle like coat because she has an really fine coat, really curly and then in some areas she has almost an undercoat. The clippers just drag thru her and it's like torture for both of us. I did learn some things to try from your video that may help improve this so hopefully that will solve the problem but would be nice to see you work with different coats 2. A little more commentary in some areas may have been helpful...it's still helpful to watch you do it, but maybe a little more talk about how to achieve different things around ears, face, smoother cut, how to get that really fluffy poodle cut if you want, etc. Overall excellent, great for beginners and even people like me who've been doing it awhile but were self taught with some concerns about doing it right and a few struggles. Thank you!

Taking this course has given me the motivation to try grooming the new puppy from the start. The course has answered so many questions and given great suggestions on products to use for grooming. I will probably go through the course several times before actually attempting to perform a full groom but that is why I'm starting before I get the puppy. Instruction is very clear and to the point.
